Huang qin tang was traditionally used in Chinese medicine for its anti-inflammatory effects on gastrointestinal problems. It is a combination of 4 herbs that work synergistically to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, including nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Among scientists it is known as PHY906.
