My name is Alyssa and I would like to tell you a little bit about my experience with Family Acupuncture & Herbs. I have been suffering with endometriosis for about 4 years now. The Dr’s had tried surgery, which gave me some relief for a year, pills and lastly they wanted me to do Lupron shots. I have two children so I wasn’t worried about trying to get pregnant, I just wanted the pain to go away. I was in pain 3 weeks out of the month. I had abnormal menstrual cycles, and it was especially painful during intercourse, which because of the pain became very infrequent. I felt horrible, it was putting a strain on me and my husbands relationship, and I couldn’t take it anymore. So I asked my Dr. if there were any holistic treatments I could try and she suggested Acupuncture. Well, I waited another three months to see if anything may improve on its own and that gave me time to research acupuncture. I have to tell you I was very skeptical going into this because of what I had already been thru. All I can say is after about 3 months of acupuncture treatments and herbs – I am at least 75% pain free, I can handle it now. I have Adam and his staff to Thank for this gift….and it truly is a gift to get your life back. I’m happier and so is my family. So please, if you have any pain at least give Adam and his staff a try.
