I am writing to share my personal experience with Family Acupuncture and Herbs. I had been diagnosed with what the doctors claimed was an “incurable” stomach condition called Gastroparesis. After months of the inability to eat, weight loss, abdominal pain, bloating and discomfort, I had just about given up. I had tried every medication which all gave me severe side effects, and had been through every test. When the doctor gave up he suggested a temporary feeding tube and liquid diet. I decided that I needed to try something else.

Acupuncture was my first choice. I feared the pain of the needles, and soon found out that not only did acupuncture not hurt, but I actually felt calm while I was receiving treatment. Adam made me feel extremely comfortable and confident. He asked questions, and was generally interested in my condition. He took a whole body approach and expressed confidence in his ability to help me get through this.

I noticed relief after just one visit with Adam. I felt relaxed, worry free, and my symptoms began to subside almost immediately. That night I was able to eat, something I had not been able to do for quite some time. The immediate relief felt like a miracle, and although I was far from being normal again I felt hope. Now, after only a few weeks of treatment I am almost completely symptom free. I find myself not worrying, and smiling again. It seems as though this is no longer an “incurable” condition. I would recommend Family Acupuncture and Herbs to anyone suffering with any condition. The support and treatment I receive there is above all others. Adam’s knowledge and experience shine through his work. With me personally, Adam has managed to do something that no doctor or drug could do, he has given me my life back, and for that I will always be thankful.
