L.Ac., Diplomate in Oriental Medicine

Marlo has been practicing acupuncture since 2009 and brings with her the clinical expertise gained by working with thousands of patients.  She studied at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Professional Health Studies and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine.   Marlo worked as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Supervisor at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, and also ran her own successful acupuncture clinic.

With a background in ophthalmology, Marlo shifted gears and became interested in acupuncture after watching her grandfather struggle with health issues.  This inspired her to want to help people heal with natural medicine and in a compassionate way.

Marlo is experienced in treating a variety of conditions, including osteoarthritis, acute and chronic pain, hypertension, diabetes, digestive disorders, asthma, PTSD, depression, auto-immune disorders, insomnia and anxiety.

In addition to being great with needles, Marlo uses traditional Tui Na massage techniques and also likes to help educate patients on health and wellness topics including exercise, nutrition, stress management, and meditation techniques.
